Enterprise Ireland

Strategy Development and Planning

Background

Enterprise Ireland is the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. They work in partnership with Irish enterprises to help them start, grow, innovate and win export sales on global markets. In this way, supporting sustainable economic growth, regional development and secure employment.

Objective

Help educate their clients; Wholesalers, Retailers Manufacturers, to help them understand what it takes to be successful online. This needed to cover everything from the company’s digital structure, marketing, developing and creating content, introducing new technology; up-skilling customer service teams, evaluating supply chain, fulfilment and distribution channels.

Results

Where there were attendees with knowledge gaps around the digital and online world, they are now fully versed. Other businesses benefitted by improving various aspects of their e-commerce business such as customer acquisition and retention, improved site usability and sales, greater multi channel integration.

Enterprise Ireland

“I’ve engaged Practicology on a number of occasions to present to, and run workshops for, our internal team who work with our clients in the retail sector, as well as to our client companies on e-commerce and the opportunities and challenges it presents. They cover everything from strategy and planning to day-to-day operations and impart their wisdom on what best practice online retailing looks like. And on every occasion they have delivered highly engaging, entertaining and relevant sessions. I’ve worked with lots of different presenters over the years but what Practicology does better than most is their ability to combine subject matter expertise, whilst transferring very relevant insight and knowledge about e-commerce but at the same time delivering highly motivational presentations which leaves the attendees really enthused as well as considerably more knowledgeable about the e-commerce space.”
