Principal Duties

Day-to-day life as a consultant in Practicology is hugely varied. Consultants work on project teams that form, and reform with different team members depending on the scope and requirements of the project. You may be researching the state of ecommerce in the US one day, and pulling together examples of best practice Social CRM, or being asked to improve ways of working across a marketing and ecommerce team the next.

The role suits people who have depth of experience in one particular ecommerce discipline, but with a thirst to work cross-functionally and broaden their experience. Key areas of experience include:

  • Marketplace and ecommerce trading experience
  • Multiple stakeholder management with the ability to influence across a network of people
  • Project plan management and the ability to implement best-in-class ecommerce offerings
  • Preparation, management and analysis of ecommerce weekly trade reports including sales turn analytics and KPI trending analysis.
  • Complex data analysis and research in a number of different areas, including analysis and forecast patterns in research data
  • Develop extensive analytics tables to effectively track patterns and data through given time frames.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of CPG experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of being able to analyse and interpret an ecommerce P&L, and build a business plan
  • BSc/BA degree
  • Expert in MS Office, especially Excel for data processing, and PowerPoint for client presentations
