100 Practical Ways to Improve Customer Experience launch party.

On the 4th of September, industry leaders from across retail, consumer brands and private equity gathered at Smeg London to celebrate the launch of Martin Newman’s new book, 100 Practical Ways to Improve Customer Experience.

On the evening Martin was also joined by Malcolm McDonald, who contributed to writing the book. During their speeches, both said that the book would provide readers with new ideas and additional momentum to take their businesses to the next level and overcome disruption in the market by putting customers at the heart of all they do.

Martin said: “In writing this book, I wanted to learn new things. How can you write about putting the customer at the heart of all you do and not talk about CSR and AI, which I’m confident will have a fundamental impact upon our businesses and the customer.

Most importantly, I wanted to write this book because I really care about customers and customer centricity. And, I really care about our retailers, restaurants, car dealers and other consumer facing businesses. I wanted to provide a framework for them to re-think what they need to do to ensure their long-term viability and sustainability.”
