As part of the benchmarking process we reviewed three top product listings for each brand on against a scorecard we have developed to assess the experience each brand provides to support turning browsers into buyers.

The scorecard considers aspects of a brand's Amazon presence including: product information, product imagery, brand content, ratings & reviews, seller competition, SEO and localisation of listings. Analysis of the results shows that even brands with a relatively strong presence on could improve their sales performance further with a number of relatively simple changes.

The report is the second in a series we have produced to analyse consumer brands' presence on Amazon in Europe. It follows on from our research analysing 100 brands selling on the marketplace in the UK, that was published in June 2020 and is also available for free download here.
