Martin Newman founded Practicology to address a gap in the consultancy market after a long career in retail. Although he has stepped back from day-to-day involvement in the business, he continues to act as an advisor to our board.

Prior to setting up Practicology he had run the online and multichannel businesses for a number of retailers and brands including Ted Baker, Harrods, Pentland Brands (Speedo, Kickers, Boxfresh etc) Burberry and Intersport.

He serves as a member of the KPMG/Ipsos Retail Think Tank, which publishes an independent quarterly outlook for the retail industry. He has previously been a Non-Executive Director of White Stuff and Advisory Board member to online retailer Wiggle.
