Managing our outsourced Ecommerce and Marketing team, she helps clients (who may not have the right resource) to scale their digital business faster with a team of local native speakers (including French, German, Italian, Spanish and Swedish nationals) who understand the nuances of their local markets in addition to their discipline (whether that be analytics, digital marketing, merchandising, CRM etc).

Nicola also consults across strategic growth, marketing and organisational design projects.

Since joining Practicology, Nicola has successfully delivered a number of crucial projects including reviewing and making recommendations to New Look on how to optimise its digital marketing budget, and supporting the digital transformation of the marketing and commercial teams of a top 10 UK retailer.

She spent 10 months on secondment with Canon as its acting Ecommerce Director, to support the roll-out of multiple localised transactional sites. She also developed and delivered a multichannel training programme for House of Fraser, covering online marketing, customer retention and engagement, and CRM; and also delivered ecommerce training to a global electronics manufacturer client.

Nicola previously developed Lombok’s ecommerce and multichannel strategy as its Multichannel Director. Starting her career with the Guardian Media Group, as part of the original Autotrader.co.uk team, she also held senior marketing and ecommerce roles for AltaVista (Yahoo) and Harrods.
