Ultra Football is a new retail concept in Australia for the devoted football (soccer) fan, stocking the latest range of soccer & football boots, clothing, balls and teamwear.
Practicology was selected to help scope out, deliver designs and support the digital channel from inception to launch.
Practicology worked with key stakeholders in the Ultra Football business to define how the digital business should trade, focusing on customer acquisition, retention and conversion. We helped the business decide on the best online platform and which website development agency would be the best suited to deliver the new site.
Following this we used the information gathered during the channel scope phase to deliver site designs across multiple devices. Practicology acted as the liaison between the business and the build agency, managing all issues, advising on decisions, and the build was delivered as scoped.
The last phase of the project was the setup, delivery and launch of a working digital channel. We created all accounts (social, marketing, analytics, technical) and conducted a handover of the working channel including process documentation to the team responsible for trading the channel.
The site was delivered to the business on time and within budget. Since the site launched five months ago revenue has increased 1,525% from the first month of trading and continues to convert at a consistently higher than average benchmark rate.
The relationship has continued following the project. Practicology have been supporting Ultra Football operationally including design and trading support.
