Practicology - a Pattern company has provided an update on how its business is coping with the threat of COVID-19, and the measures we are putting in place to protect staff, partners and clients while ensuring that our high service levels are maintained.

Both Practicology and its parent company Pattern have made the decision to offer homeworking to all office-based employees. We already have agile working in place supported by a full cloud-based IT infrastructure; and collaboration tools that are routinely used by our teams globally.

We have tested our infrastructure and are very confident in our ability to service clients with minimal disruption; with all planned physical meetings in our offices being replaced with conference calls for the time being.

Our warehouses around the world continue to operate as normal, and we are seeing very strong sales from the marketplaces we operate on – including Amazon and Tmall - as consumers turn to the internet to access product. We will be issuing more information on our Amazon sales in the coming weeks to provide insight into trading patterns in these unprecedented times.

We’ve already issued an update about the response of our team in China – where agile-working has successfully been in place since Chinese New Year with positive results for all trading clients in the region.
