Practicology was engaged by The Entertainer in 2013 with the remit of improving its online trading performance. Our approach was to understand how the ecommerce team currently operated, make suggestions for improvements and then provide the team with the skills and knowledge they would need to deliver the new ways of working.
We conducted a people and processes audit. This included meetings and interviews with each team member to ascertain their strengths and weaknesses, as well as to identify skills or knowledge gaps. In addition, we reviewed The Entertainer’s operational processes in to suggest productively improvements.
Following the audit, Practicology recommended an organisational structure, and delivered training and knowledge transfer to The Entertainer’s senior management and ecommerce team at their head office. Our training sessions included an introduction to relevant online trading KPIs, as well as new function-specific reporting formats focused on generating real insight that would allow staff members to make better trading-related decisions in their roles.
